Tiling

Purchase of quality tiles is never enough. To make your investment worth its money, you have to do the tiling properly. If you follow our simple recommendations, you will achieve a great result and enjoy a beautiful finishing.

• Surface preparation. In the beginning make sure that wall is smooth, firm and clean. It should be cleaned from dust, dirt, oil or any other matter that could deteriorate the traction. Every wall should be dressed by a deep penetration primer for a better traction of tiles with surface.

• Tiles preparation

Before laying, mix the decorative tiles from 3-5 boxes and model a future laying pattern on your floor.

Back side of every element must be treated by a stiff wire brush or rub two tiles against each other (back sides). Afterwards, back side of a tile is covered by a primer composition.

• Laying

Optimal temperature for laying — from +5°С to +25°С.

Laying must be started with corners (if any), then move on to door and window openings.

Adhesive compositions should be elastic and specifically designed for decorative tiling.

• Joints filling

Filling joints with grout does not only give a wall a finished and aesthetic look, but protects tiles from moisture penetration and contamination. You can either use a semifluid or a semi-dry grout.

• Don't trust unqualified workers, especially for outdoor work. 
• Before tiling, decorative tiles should be stored in a dry place, avoiding any moisture.
